Instagram Is not Inspiring

January has been a slow and relaxing month and one of the reasons is because I have not been active on Instagram.

Like many, I have fallen prey to doom scrolling and I would use the excuse I was on there to get inspiration for my next video but the reality is, ive been lying to myself. So, I have not been on there as much.

During this month, I have caught myself thinking of video ideas I would like to pursue that I never got from watching others on Instagram or Youtube for that matter. I find this surprising because for the first 3 years that is one of the biggest reasons (or excuses) I gave for consuming as much content as I did.

Inspiration.

You’ll know what happen next though, there is an addition BUT most importantly for myself, I wasn’t really being original.

So now I ask myself a new question…

What type of content would I create if I wasn’t watching other peoples ideas come to life but instead create from just my imagination and experiences.

Sounds pretty novel and I wish it was but im just going back to the roots of imagination.

So my not so novel idea is this…

I’m not going to be active on Instagram so much for a while. Yes I might have posts scheduled because I still enjoy creating for this platform but I am going to seek inspiration elsewhere and see what happens.
